| Message text Calsir, the aircraft availablility chart that Tornade is alluding to does not actually involve any die rolling, but rather a victory point penalty or bonus, depending on the aircraft selection. We find that our group will rarely pick the super planes, prefering to stick with the less glamourous models and obtain the point advantages.
We have also experimented with fuel capacities as well, adjusting mostly the Allied values to allow for battles being fought over the German lines. Once again, we assign victory point bonuses to the Allied player to compensate for the different play balance. It works rather well and is difficult for the German player to win, even though most of the advantage will go to them. |
