I am sorry to hear this. As it is your site, I can only acknowledge your decision. However I most strongly disagree that there were any valid arguments; rather mostly only those who said "I don't like it" very loudly. And I would further note that, contrary to your statement, you do not adhere to the game, having implemented numerous home rules, of which this would have been one more.
