You seem to have noticed what I was thinking of when I first read your post days ago, and that is that changing the fuel rules, or using ammo rules as others have suggested, or similar modifications, would change the game quite a bit. Full re-write or not, it would become something of a different game. Personnally, I have hoped for altitude, or campaigns that included increased pilot stats.

Although I realize that major changes would effectively create a different game, I do think that a modest rework of the fuel values would greatly reduce some of the inaccuracies. Of course, I don't actually expect that to be done here.
Altitude would be interesting on-line, but don't get me started on that bit of illogic in the board game's rules. Campaigns, with the use of the board game's skills, would be a great addition to the site, although the point system used here would not work with the board game's campaign ideas. |
