| | Message text Good day, Admirals.
In a game I'm playing, during a boarding action something that I didn't expect happened and I'd like to know why. The situation now is the following:
http://www.youplay.it/play/ws_GameMove.asp?GameID=527989&MoveId=22
Just before the Boarding Phase, Ville de Paris (French) was grappled to Fier (French), Formidable (British) and Terrible (British), and their crews were as follows (all average):
Fier (French): 8 Ville de Paris (French): 10
Formidable (British): 6 Terrible (British): 6
Knowing that, I ordered Ville de Paris' whole crew (10) to board Terrible (in hopes it would be able to capture it) while transferred Fier's (8) to Ville de Paris to defend it against the boarding party Formidable would surely send (6).
However, apparently Fier's crew never fought against Formidable's boarding party, as this (according to the turn report) captured Ville de Paris without any melee. Even worse, both Fier's and Ville de Paris's crews (the latter was not eventually able to seize Terrible) were also captured.
The only explanation I can think about what actually happened is that crew movements don't happen simultaneously, but offensive boarding is first, then melees, and at last transfers.
Could anybody confirm whether it is so, or explain me how boarding phase actually works? Or is it another bug?
I will appreciate any help.
