what are you looking for? The team with the most kills won.( the beaten side had a shared kill. It shows as 1 kill each. There are no .5 kills) The pilot with the most points won.
Both teams have two kills, one team has more points and lost - not quite how it was explained that the team with most points wins.
Is it most points
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=525055&UserID=GraysGhostNope the player with the most points came 3rd
most kills
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=513403&UserID=GraysGhostNope the player with the only kill came last
joint scores
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=522945&UserID=GraysGhostNope the team with the highest joint score came last
So what is it then?
There is no consistency here.
Kit, when you play a league game you are actually playing two games in one. First, you have a traditional non-league game in effect where the player with the most game points wins regardless of whether he lives, dies, retires with honor or dishonor. Other factors only come into play if there is a tie in point totals.
Second is the league scoring system where you can score league points based on how both your team and you as an individual preformed. The rules for THAT scoring system can be found on the left side menu under "LEAGUES" and then "HOW TO PLAY".
Where I think you are getting confused is that multiple players can each get a kill individually for helping to shoot down the same enemy plane but your team only gets credit for shooting down one plane.
So the winner is decided from the best team on the winning side in a Strategic Victory?
Strategic victory One side completely destroy the other and remain the only side on the map. Among the winning side the player who scored more points is declared the winner player.
Note for Blue Max: a plane retired with honor, is considered still on the map. See the last paragraphs of the Blue Max rules for more info.
http://www.youplay.it/play/bm_GameMove.asp?GameID=520048&UserID=BMBugSo I'm agreeing with Kit on this one - how does it work?
100% of the Germans were killed vs. 50% of the Allies. Clearly, the Allies won.
Well done, so why was the victory given to the German player when it states in the League Rules that the winner will be the player from the winning side with the most points?
Re-read pokerguy's post - it already answered your question.
No it doesn't.
The rules say that the winner is the player with the most points from the winning side.
What is happening is that the player with the most points is winning the games.
EITHER
The rules are wrong
OR
The programming is wrong
Read the rules and then look at the examples - it isn't right
Yes, it does.
In Leagues, each game has a Game Winner and a League Game Winner - they are not necessarily the same thing. The Game Winner is ALWAYS the player with the most points, regardless of side or survival - just like regular games. The League Game Winner is the player with the most points on THE WINNING SIDE.
All of the examples you've shown are consistent with this.
EITHER
You and your brother are wrong
OR
Your programming is wrong
The League wording could have been improved by differentiating the winner (i.e. Game Winner) from the victor (i.e. League Game Winner) because obviously there are some pilots getting confused by the dual use of "winner" for both.
Games created for the league have the exact same rules of the normal games. The only difference is that at the end of a league's game, a league score is calculated and used to rank the players in the league.
One side completely destroy the other and remain the only side on the map. Among the winning side the player who scored more points is declared the winner player.
