I know the original point was about a veteran player, but please also keep in mind that some of us play a particular game only very rarely and haven't spent a great deal of time learning tactics, or etiquette. Sometimes we see what looks like the best hope or quickest way out of a situation, which is after all just a game.
Bltzlfsk, I agree you: this is just a game and its objective is to provide fun. However, sometimes, for different reasons (like bugs), different opinions about what correct behaviour is can arise, and in such cases I think talking openly about it (while keeping the utmost respect, however) is always positive. If through respectful discussion and arguing general consense can be reached, perfect; but else, I think the best way to avoid potential conflictive situations is to set clear each one's posture about it in order uncompatible players don't play together.
Just my two cents. |
