Sometimes we see what looks like the best hope or quickest way out of a situation, which is after all just a game. Bltzlfsk, I agree you: this is just a game and its objective is to provide fun. However, sometimes, for different reasons (like bugs), different opinions about what correct behaviour is can arise, and in such cases I think talking openly about it (while keeping the utmost respect, however) is always positive. If through respectful discussion and arguing general consense can be reached, perfect; but else, I think the best way to avoid potential conflictive situations is to set clear each one's posture about it in order uncompatible players don't play together. Just my two cents. If you want to play with certain group of players, make private challenges. Nobody else but those being challenge will see the games. So there is no chance that you will offend anybody. Alternatively you can have password games and only send the password to people that you like to play with. If you are creating public games, anybody can join. You cannot count on people to read the description. You maybe good in English but some European players may not understand it well enough to stay away from the game. Some people just won't read! If you create
Challenges and password games are another possibility, but limite the amount of people that can play them. On the other hand, I'm new, don't know yet many players to challenge or invite to play with me, would like to know and play with more and don't want to discriminate the majority of players just because of a few ones.
About the descriptions, you're right, maybe many players don't understand or read them, and even so nothing force them to comply with the conditions set, but anyway I think the possibility of conflict decreases significantly.
About the possibility of offending someone, I must say that although I don't wish to play with a kind of players, I don't depict or hate them, and apologize if something I said was understood as such; I just find their style of playing uncompatible with mine, that's all. Nothing personal.
