Nice point Steve, but from the discussion with Phil Hall we learned that he put the fuel rule in the game to determine its length. This means the fuel rule is part of the heart of Blue Max. From the repeated discussions with HeadMoid we know that he just wants to delete it. And that can't be.
Let us consider the first two sentences. In effect they say; "Phil Hall wrote it, so it cannot change." That would seem to put you at a severe disagreement with this site (which you so vocally support) seeing as how it has made a number of notable deletions and modifications to the core rules of Phil Hall's beloved and supposedly inviolate Blue Max rules.
As for the last sentence, we can disregard it, since, as is typical, you simply haven't got a clue. I haven't said I want to delete those rules - but you wouldn't know that since you don't seem to bother actually understanding what was posted. I have said that I don't like those rules (didn't you attack that very statement of mine?). I have said the rules are not historically accurate. I have said the rules do not provide a good method for limiting the length of a game. I have also repeatedly said that I have no expectation of the rules being changed. I told you in the past, and you apparently failed to heed the advice -- if you are going to talk about what people say, get their statements right! Do not substitute what you want them to have said so that it suits your purposes. |
