You have, apparently unknowingly, reopened a major sore point on this forum. The fuel issue in Blue Max has been discussed / argued / fought over a number of times in the past. I would suggest you take a look at the two most recent threads at:

I think that this is a great idea, however, if the subject is pursued I believe you will find that; 1) There is almost no chance of such a change being implemented here. 2) It will only lead to an argument. 3) The discussion will devolve into those who try to apply historical evidence and logic to the issue, and those who just don't want the game to change.
