Granted, I may not change your mind on this to warrant a rewrite of some maneuver charts, or alter the basic physics of the game. However, I do think you can understand my exasperation at some of the elements after having read what I have for references. Maybe mine are outdated and totally wrong. They are all I have. I do know Mr. Bruce's work is quite meticulous. I do not know how accurate Owen and Thetford's work is, but have not heard any serious complaints about inaccuracies or embeleshments. However, I would trust their work drawn from many different sources, tests, accounts, etc. versus the (possibly jaded) view of a single person. But, that's just the scientist in me.
