Using the name Adolf (which, IIRC was not a very unpopular name prior to 1940) is not Nazi propaganda. If linking to a historical site - museum, wikipedia, biography, etc. - is considered Nazi propaganda, then why are those sites and physical objects allowed to exist in Italy? Do Italian libraries contain no reference to Nazis on their shelves? No historical examinations of the Third Reich? No objective mention of the perpetrators of the Holocaust? How do you expect young Italians to learn from history by censoring a major element of it?
I didn't ask to remove his name, or remove the player from the site : I asked him to remove from his profile the bornplace and birthdate : (Braunau am Inn, 20 aprile 1889), that linked togheter the biography, were clearly a form of "admiration" for Hitler. I do not understand how you can take that as an objective mention... no sarcasm here. The player removal was a decision that the webmaster were going to take if the user was not going to reply or change the birthplace-date profile. I didn't ask that absolutely. I never asked, not in public form nor private, the removal of any player.
Maybe you are referring to the actual a.he. profile, that shows a different one from the one who I was asking to be changed. My actions started before these changes were made, and these changes were made in conseguences of my action.

I sent you an hate mail ? I don't think so. I remember I sent you an email where I said that you were acting very childish, saying things like "I will leave the site beacuse this situation".
However, to demand a change in another user's profile, are all beyond your entitlements
Demand a change in a player profile, when the profile was like that, is far inside my entitlement, and my citizien duty. Since my request was accepeted, and the Hitler birthdate and bornplace were scraped off, I guess my request was reasonable.
This was the part of profile that I asked to be changed :
City : Braunau am Inn, Austria.
Birthdate : April 20th, 1889.
Prefered site : --Hitler biography-- historical site.
My original request was to remove the link to hitler's biography too, but then a user found that was just a link to an historical site, then I agreed that it wasn't necessary. I doubt you wouldn't agree that such a profile does not appear as Hitler apologetic. |
