I have a plastic bin full of unassembled 1/72 scale WW1 models. I only built and painted 6 or 8. I spent a couple years keeping my eyes open for harder to find planes that weren't too expensive, or kits that required to much work. It was a real joy. Our game club tracked pilots records, using our 1/72 scale planes mounted on car antennas (detached from cars) to add altitude to our games. Blue Max really is a gem. Its replay value is amazing. The compromises made to get it published are the way of the world. Movies and books, anything with an editor and a publisher, have run the gauntlet. People really need to learn to enjoy our entertainments for what they are, instead of what people wish they were. I ramble... Thanks again.
