This is a game of planes fighting above the trenches not of deep penetration that would require scrolling maps, different endurance rules and so on. What I've asked is why the designer omitted a type of fighter that was operatively used, but in not such a large quantity as the Ni 17 or the SPAD VII.
Now, the scrolling maps needed for a bombing would require a lot of work, the introduction of a new plane much less.
Anyway I can tell you that the staff, even if has gained one new member, avallega, is really busy in present developments (WS&IM) and won't have time for other large improvements for BM.
