This has been a great forum for me as I am rather new to this game. Something is confusing me, however. The rules state, "A player should not tell another player if he is out of fuel or gliding and whether his guns have jammed or are out of ammunition."

Maybe I have not played enough games to notice this, but does the computer tell your opponents when you have undergone any of these results? I don't remember seeing "gun destroyed" listed on my enemies plane. If that is the case, then what Tornade said makes sense, but if the enemy doesn't know your status, couldn't you bluff them a little? Lead them away from your wingman? I will definitely pay more attention to the aircraft status table from now on. Thank you all for your responses.
