Just further to everyone's comments - the original Cup, League and Campaign developed a bit as a trial of different types of competition. They all have their different merits.....and I'm sure there are other formats that haven't been tried yet.
The whole squadron concept is unofficial really and I just tried to tie it together to make if a bit more permanent. People were forming squadrons on here before I even registered to play  although they came and went and there wasn't any real recognition of them.
Anyone can create a squadron tournament at any time - you definitely don't need to go through me  Just because a squadron isn't listed on the page I created dosn't mean you can't compete in tournaments etc. It's all a guide more than anything.
The Campaign was too much work for me in all honesty, and I'm increasingly finding it difficult to organise tournaments etc. If anyone else wants to take on some of them they'd be more than welcome!
On the issue of running events, I would like to see Lord Loquaix issue some admin privs. to a trusted few, that show the interest in assisting these kinds of events. It can only help promote the smooth running of such events.
Due to having another website accessible via the same log-in I use for the squadron page (and my very limited webmaster skills) I can't let anyone else access it to update it. I know this is a major problem as I struggle to find the time to keep things updated (the workload is increasing as more squadrons appear). I'm looking at converting the squadron page into some sort of forum/messageboard design where squadrons will be able to update their information by themselves, and other people can run tournments and display the results there easily......the downside of this would be that the site would lose its colour and many of its graphics. Workload wise I think I'm going to be forced to do it at some point - I'm looking at the options
