The Bristol's gun configuration was also changed for the online version. As I recall, the board game had the Bristol with 2 rear Lewis guns making it an even tougher plane to fight. The compromise on youplay was to change it to only 1 rear gun but not a lewis type. Perhaps a compromise could be reached with the N17 as well. Perhaps give it 2 forward guns but reduce its stability to a C for the 2 gun version only.
That could work. The N.17 would still be a tager practice plane...but while some added bite.
I am SO HAPPY that the Bristol only has 1 rear facing gun. That plane would be king of the skies if it had 2 rear guns.
Imagine all those players already using the Bristol for cheap and easy slaughter matches in Standard games. Rhis would make it an almost assured victory.
With 2 rear guns, they would win even more easily.
We don't need that. There are enough scenarios that players can use to boost their kill totals. |
