I know it's been hashed out on the board before. But how about, just as a test, doing some timeouts that are a day or less? All it'll take is a quick tweak to the programming. See if people like it, then go from there.
What was the timed out set to for that game? The lowest you can go for regular games are 5 days, leagues can go down to 3 days. Any more than that will be unreasonable even for seasoned addict like me. If you choose to join a 14 days or higher timed out, you will just have to wait.
