I'm going to just step-away from this whole issue. Who would have thought a "small complaint" about the use/nonuse of a simple umlaut and some other 'squiggles' would have given rise to so much heat! I guess it just goes to show why we still have Flags, languages, and other seemingly slight differences that still lead to strife!
Oh well, I wish everyone the best and to paraphrase Rodney King, "we all have to try and get along". Wishes to ALL for a Great New Year! and let's all continue to enjoy using the 'controlled strife' of this great site.
