| Message text I really like how the rake is implemented, while not nesecairily realistic I base a majority of my tactical decisions on whethere I'm going to get raked and wether he is going to rake me. Also the simplicity of the rules makes them easy to learn and easy to remember while playing. I'd like to note that in the example you initially presented the dice rolled for the rake was a 6, that means the broadsite was as good as it could possibly have been, thats why it did so much damage.
To Tornade, when sailing there is no way for a boat to stay in one position. If it is moving forward then by the phisics of how it works it is much less suceptible to drift. However if you are stopped then you will deffinetly drift, espicially these flat bottomed warships whith huge surface area above the water. As and aside, considering concepts such as "hove to" are much to complicated for this game.
