However, the what do we do with ace pilot who gets into firing position 5-6 times a game, but is unlucky in pulling damage chits and looses to a newbie who gets in one shot and pulls a Pilot Killed chit? I have had enemies who escaped with 87% damage and I have been shot down with a single PK chit. I think the current system works OK if you take into account the 3 different ways that players are ranked. Kills, Average Points and Wins. The same good players tend to rise to the top but the order is not identical in each category. I have respect for anyone who is in the top 20 of any of the three categories. Perhaps the kills vrs deaths Statistic should be labeled as the primary or traditional rank.
I enjoy Blue Max, maybe more so because some of the most enjoyable ones were ones in which I lost, but survived.
