In the words of Eddie Rickenbaker
"In this business, you find the enemy, then go after and destroy him. Everything else is rubbish!"
The game as designed scores only points for shooting down enemy planes, damage done and turns flown count for nothing.
If such a simple change was made in the game, then the whole controversy over retiring with or without honour would be made irrelevant.
that's the difference between business and game. Or I wouldn't cheerfully greet my wife after dinner saying "I go up for some kills", and would wear pampers instead. Being this a game, I believe that every regard to what was an historical consideration of victory is rubbish. |
