A friend almost got a Battletech RPG off the ground for our group, but it didn't happen. You would recommend it? I have also been wanting to try the Star Wars D20 system.
The Star Wars D20 I've never played, but I can say from experience that the FASA "B.T." rpg can a little "rules heavy".
Still trying to work a "light" version out.
