I'm too one of the "original" AD&D player and Dungeon Master era. I own all the books (even the Unearthed Arcana, Dungeoneer Survival Guide, Wilderness Survival Guide, High Level Campaigns...) except the very first releases of Legend & Lore then called Dieties & Demigods (with the Chtulhu stuff). I also run, as DM, the entire DragonLance campaign (1986+) with a 12 players peek. This is long ago and I didn't play for 15 years now. Maybe I should try the D20 system (is it worth the try?)
But all that was before the MMORGP... Finding 5-6 people that what to throw dice is somewhat difficult now.
I played AD&D as well back in the 80s and early 90s. I played and DM it in gaming clubs and DM at gaming conventions. I had the same pile of books as Ray_Collishaw has but most (if not all) were gotten rid of some years ago. I have the original DragonLance series novels and all of the modules. We moved on to GURPS after that and liked it more.
