Since this really only affects leagues I would propose that a player who leaves without honor is treated the same as if he were shot down and the player who shot at him last gets credited with a kill. Not sure how hard that would be to program.
I agree, that's exactly what should happen because if your rudder is jammed your opponent has a great advantage over you.
It is only for leagues and is probably a nightmare to code but seems logical.
