I feel you, although I love C. It has the raw power of Assembler and the elegance of Pascal.
In Italy we have a debugging rule, called "The Rule of the Huntsman"; it says: "Don't shoot your foot just because it moves". With C, you shoot off your whole leg.
I just had an insight: C is for Camel (the real thing, not the crap of Blue Max move chart). It's a real jewel, but in inexperienced hands it kills its pilot first.  |
