Message text Whilst I may have asthma, arthritis, a compromised immune system, allergies to anti-biotics, permanent migraine and neuralgia of a nerve in my right eye I consider myself very lucky because I've avoided Cancer.
Other people in my family have been less lucky.
I’m therefore going to cycle around Rutland Water, near Oakham in the county of Rutland, England. It’s about twenty miles.
I’ve created a page where you can donate to the Cancer Research UK foundation.

If you’re curious why now, my brother has just been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer though he survived pancreatic cancer twelve years ago.
Both of my parents died of cancer, as did all of my mother’s siblings (two sisters and a brother).
We each do what we can.
