| | Message text I must say though that I don't agree with using an honour system to bar users from games. I agree that new users should possibly be restricted to a certain number of games in the first month (eg. 50 or 100) but I wouldn't like to see leagues "for 5 star pilots only" etc. That would be awful.
The honour system for me would be purely an illustrative thing. It'd be nice for people to have something to aim at rather than just stats (if they want that sort of thing).
You could always dispense with negative votes and just have positive votes. New players could then have something different to aim at and it might encourage them to play more and enjoy it more as it would reward "honourable play" (a bit like forums have "ranks"). Obtaining 5 stars wouldn't require that many votes (eg. 20 or 25).
Just my opinion  Although this has got sidetracked away from the point and I don't think that this system would be an effective way of preventing the "curse of the automovers"!
