Message text Yes, you are correct about the randomizer and all of us using the same one, but I've noticed a rash of engines getting shot out from under pilots in head on firing, observer killed, and losing guns. I would like to know if these are all a roll of 1. I believe I'm not talking just about myself in these situations. I've been seeing this happen to multiple players in multiple games. I may be oversimplifying, but following the Central Limit Theorem, the more times you roll a single dice, the closer the average of these rolls gets to 3.5. I believe the random number generator violates this Theorem, and therefore is not a true replication of die rolling.
Let's look at it from a practical standpoint. How much fun is it to get into a head on situation, take a couple of hits and lose your engine in game after game after game? I know, don't get into head on. And, yes, everyone has the same chance of getting their engines shot away, but again, where's the fun in a bunch of planes gliding around the board?
Last note, I have a 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old. There are no dice in Candyland
