It is a serious question, despite the cute little jokes about making this thing roll special for someone specifically.
In answer to the question "do you have a better way to roll dices" I'd say YES, make it a more random number generator. There are several online that do a good job.
It rolls 1 too often, and much more often than 1/6 of the time, where the odds should be.
Is there a way to fix it, all you smart programmer types?
You must be kidding.
You know, these mystical "web random number generators" you speak about rely on the exact same coding line that our kind skymasters use on youplay. That is, the aptly-named "random()" function.
Also, I know there are several treatises about how you percieve bad luck etc, so if anyone plans any statistical calculations, please
1. be prepared to do that for a LONG TIME (you should record at least some thousands numbers before reaching acceptable levels of confidence for the law of big numbers - say record at least 10k hits?)
2. be prepared to do that using someone else's dice, preferably someone you have never spoken, or cared about. By recording your own numbers you are actually looking for personal trends, and that often means creating those trends in your subconscious. Many books have been writte on the subject, so I'll not explore this further. FInd a book and read it
