I am a total newbie - Never played BM before I came onto this site. I have found this site easy to navigate and there always seems to be games to join, though not many 1 v 1.

When I first arrived on here about 5 days ago, there were a number of games saying new players welcome, but only in one of them was any advice given to me.

I think that having some specialised 1v1 games set up would be good, where one experienced player plays a new player, giving feedback after each move and handing over any tips they can think of. Sort of like a continuing supply of training games - available games where one slot is subscribed to by the expert, leaving the other slot waiting for a new player to subscribe. Experienced players should just make sure that there are at least a couple of these on offer at any one time.

Having said all that, I have been quite happy to dive in at the deep end and either sink or swim
