I could not care less if someone wants to set up multiple accounts and play with themselves ("you'll go blind dong that"). The plain and simple fact is that they might build up some stats (which mean NOTHING), but it does nothing for their learning this game.
I came on to this site less than nine months ago as a newbie. I lost MANY games at first. Then Professor ksnake took me under his wing. Then I lost a LOT more games!

After losing several dozen games in a row I finally won a game...on turn one I got a PK against an opponent. Not very satisfying, but it was a win.
I couldn't care less about stats...I play multiplayer games in leagues and the 2010 campaign. It's simply difficult to win lots of games in those situations.
The thing that matters is that you have FUN.
If someone wants to pad their "statistics", then so be it.
Just don't enter league/campaign games as multiple players.
