Bill, You should train your son up on "WS&IM" and bring him along to the WBC next year! I am working on my son who is 13, and I may bring him along next year (may depend on grades...) There were 3 young teens who joined us in the WS&IM tournament in Lancaster this year, it was fun watching the next generation earn their Midshipman's berths!

Actually, I taught him how to play a few years ago. I downloaded the rules and counters and map and everything, glued them to poster board and started playing! He loved to close and grapple, which I avoid like the plague, but it was fun. He even played here briefly, but now if it's not on an Xbox he's not interested.
And I'm not even sure if the game at GenCon was WWI or WWII. It just looked neat with the planes up on stands, I assume for 3D, which is often lost in boardgames. |
