Then so be it, let him pad all the stats he wants, a fruitless endeavor in that at some point (leagues, squadrons what have you) He still has to play with us and then... stats be damned.
If a "ghost" or "clone" is in the mix well then I trust these old salts to sniff that out as well.
Let him have his day if that's what he needs, if he cheats, well get him soon enough.
