The fleeing - half points house rules was designed more then 5 years ago as of the reason stayed by Nick http://youplay.it/play/forum_showmessage.asp?msgid=4214

Further to the League System, the flee can't be awarded as kill cause it would create problem in multiple players game.

Also the league score system is designed to award 'good' behaviour like shooting down plane and stayed in the sky as long as the player can.

We didn't limit other pliot's behaviour by heavy punishment because we want the freedom of speech/play. And keep this site as neutral and free to everyone as possible.

To do this we need cooperation from ALL of you, you see seldom did I nor Nick would moderate the forum. We would like to see discussion on games, and very occasionally we see flame here.

Flames occurs in all forums and sometimes can lead to very interessing posts, but insulting and offending others is not a behaviour we can tolerate.

And on the cyber space, this may be more tricky as people understanding of language and tone is difference.

Let's keep the discussion on the games/league system continue, but a stop to any personal insulting.
