| | Message text I invite people to read the books written by many of the Top pilots that survived WW1 or managed to right books before they were killed, or even better the after battle reports. Most kept shooting until a wing fell off their opponent or flames had completely engulfed the EA.
There are relatively few reports of letting he opponent live (though there are some) It was fairly quickly realised that it’s the pilot that is the valuable part of the plane.
Honour and chivalry are also important to me, but are out of place in a game about aircombat (even in a simulation as simple as Blue Max)
And I would hold a Court Marshall for any Pilot of the Hissing Cats that allowed a Damm Hun to escape!
