Greetings earthlings,

I have to admit that there is a certain tactic that really depletes my goat herd - that's people flying off the edge of the playing area during a league match.

I've just had a word with BMBug and he's spitting feathers about a player who did that to him this afternoon.

I think that the rules should be changed for leagues when someone does this.

They should be treated as shot down, and their opposite number get full points for a kill and all the benefits that entails.

It is silly that gamesmanship should be allowed to benefit poor pilots who can vacate the airspace rather than trying their skill at gliding to their own lines.

Obviously there are times when a tail hit has the same result, but this is tough, leaving the area for whatever reason is abandoning the game and should be punished.
