Answer me this:
Why is it that the pilot with the upper hand can discard the "Code of Chivalry" during league games and go for the kill of an unarmed or powerless pilot, but the vanquished opponent must continue to adhere to the Code? Why must the defeated opponent "play with honor", but the winning pilot can actually play intelligently? You and BMBug are upset because a chance to shoot down a engine-less pilot was taken from you. That seems contradictory to your Code, so I am curious how it is justified.

The Code is a novel idea, but it is not practical. Consider how you would explain to your grieving mother that your pillow munching brother was killed in battle by the same pilot you had defeated but let return home to fight another day. Would she be quick to forgive you because you had honor, or would she be incensed that you could have quite possibly avoided your brother's death?

Always remember, it is just a game we play here.
