I've been thinking again.
You know in "Blue Max - The Board Game" novices started off unable to use the restricted section of the manoeuvre sheet. Well can we have a new type of game where youplay.it players cannot use them either.
We have Standard Games, Simple Games, Advanced Games, so why not Novice Games?
What would be really good is if we could then have scenarios that had novices against veteran pilots. So the old Baron and his chaps could fly against the enemy who had no flying experience and polish them off - just like the real thing. I'm not suggesting that new members to the site have to start with a penalty, but that we have the option when creating the scenario if we want the enemy to be experienced or novice pilots.
You could have training flights with one experienced pilot and a few novices being bounced by experienced foes. Some of the scenarios could be rather fun.
Just a thought.
