Getting back to the thread of my original post - how many of you have played a game here on the computer where a PK/FTE has not appeared compared to the number played as a board game.
When there is a marked difference then there is something wrong.
If there is something wrong it needs to be fixed.
By reducing the probability of those chits appearing you have not removed the possibility of it happening, just brought the computer game into "reality" with the board game.
Something for the programmers to think about - even if without a change some of our games are spoilt by too many random events happening regularly.
To give you some more points here is the statistic on the league I talked you before, it is till on line so you can check it. I put it in quoting to separate from my final consideration:

Fineturno got 55 red, 42 blue, shoot down 8 with 6 special, one every 9,17.
IronEagle got 73 red, 42 blue, shoot down 8 with 2 special, one every 36,50.
Luftwaffe got 82 red, 41 blue, shoot down 12 with 7 special, one every 11,71.
SIGAROSO got 89 red, 40 blue, shoot down 12 with 3 special, one every 29,67.
Globally in the league were drawn 540 blue and 316 blue chits, causing 70 victories, 33 of them for a special damage, one every 16,36 red chits. Are not counted as shoot down by a special damage all that games in which the PK wasn't the only cause of your end, i.e. were even the tail or the fuselage were of. But if you add these five un-meanning special damage you go to to a ratio of one PK/PE every 14,21 red chits.
This statistic, on the last of 8 leagues of our tournament, was made since some of the players were talking against PK/PE as you made, and shows thay were wrong. For the second edition of our tournament, that will grow up from 8 to 16 players, I will probably keep it from the start, so it will be more exact.
As you can see, your stats are wrong, so keep playing and don't ask that the staff programming time is used to implement your home rules. I rather that it is used to put Wooden Ships and Iron Men out of testing, for instance.
And remember that the great part of the players (90% or so) likes special damages, so if you don't accept them, you reduce the number of possible opponents and the relative fun!
