Going off from the wrong side is lame. In the original game, the map would "slide" to let the other planes chase you. So, going out of the wrong side is like cheating in the eyes of many players
Not really so... in the original game the map could "slide" only vertically, but "allied" and "german" sides were fixed (and every plane going off the edge through the opposite side was considered shot down by enemy flak...)
