Message text Here is a novel concept that we use for campaign scoring within our own gaming group. When an aircraft withdraws from the map for whatever reason, it is considered to be shot down for purposes of determining victory. You are still able to save the pilot of course so that he will be able to fly in further missions for that period, but the particular mission he was flying is lost. No individual pilot scores points for the kill, but the pilot withdrawing scores no points other than experience for flying the mission and any kills he may have made. Thus, while it will cost you the mission, it might be the best option to save the pilot and the plane rather than have it destroyed and removed from the roster. |
