Hi Moonglum

I saw that website and it looks very intriguing but I was unable to determine how exactly the site operates. Specifically what needs to be loaded, etc

If you know anything at all about this site I would be grateful to hear from you.


Here's a good discussion thread with links for both Vassal and Cyberboard http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/173284 . Both are 'shells' and people design game modules (mods) to use in the shells -so there is a very wide range of quality and usability of the game mods. There is no AI, it's strictly human v human, the only thing the game does is present the board, counters, flips counters rolls dice, keeps cards, and other admin functions. I've used some Cyberboard gameboxes (AH Gettysburg 88 and Victory In the Pacific) and both of those mods were easy to figure out. I've played around with Vassal a bit, but I haven't actually played a game using their system.

There is another system called Aide de camp that several game publishers use that is (from what I understand) a bit more polished. The mods for this are professionally done and you buy them from the game company.
