I'm responding to all the posts so no one get offended - please. Thanks for responding about the games - at least I can get some remade.
In regards to the posts. The tournament was annouced a long time ago and several posts were MADE in regards to extending signup, etc. because in fact, I had noticed that many were telling me there were on vacation.
Now, it will be quite impossible to appease every single player regarding their schedule nor can it reasonably be expected that someone should know every "holyday"/holiday stretched about the globe. May I suggest that all the posts be read regarding rules and so forth. The rules are explicit about sign up.
Since there was some confusion getting started, though I do not know how I could layed things out better, this first attempt will not count against a sign up, and sticking to the rules, nor will the next one.
Basically, if a team fails to sign up in time and the other team is fully ready to go, I agreed to remake the game one more time. Should the same team fail to signup, then it is a forfeit. I am somewhat concerned about this rule in that I could see where the other team fails to sign up and then, I will have to remake the game one more time.
Basically, if your squadron wants to participate, you really need to check in on this thing a bit more often than just once a day. Thanks all and don't worry about the little rough start, the tournament will advance just fine. |
