We just shot one down in the our first game. Could be good humor or his comments about our conduct were in real anger. I also have no guns but am still flying around taking the risk of being shot down too. Question is...should we allow such crippeled aircraft to retire...with honors (full pts.) or should he be forced to leave without honors (1/2 Pts.). These points could be very vital later incase of a tie etc...after writing this and thinking about the points it would seem to make sence to shoot him down.

defenseless planes should exit asap. They are easy marks and contribute nothing other than distractions for enemy planes. They may cost their side the victory in a league game by being shot down. They may leave with honor if they just run away. I had a game of 2 on 3 that my partner hung around with no motor. He eventually was shot down and I shot down 1 of the other planes. We had the pts. but the league determined that they won because we had 50% casualty as opposed to their 33%. So, if you want to win shoot those defenseless planes down.

On a side note... in the original game you didn't share your damage. It was impossible to tell if an opponent was defenseless or just jammed. This version allows you to see when guns are gone and when they try to fire but are jammed.
