i agree with both Rico and Saltylog...a player who flies off the board should not be able to win
and those who do it when they are ahead on points may well be displaying good judgement in both game terms and real world terms...but in a game...it is kind of unsportmanlike...rather like a hockey team leaving the ice before the end of the third period and they are ahead on points...of course in most sports games...you cant do that
i have said before that a player who leaves voluntarily before the game criteria allows should forfeit ALL points...those who are forced off due to damage should be counted as shot down and some victory points be awarded to the player who shot did the damage...other points could be awarded for holding the field but that might be more difficult to quantify |
