i just got shot down by a tail hit in a situation where a tail hit is NOT possible to obtain
the observer in the Halberstadt fired into the FRONT hex of my aircraft and scored a RED tail hit...
after looking at the rules carefully...observers do not recieve any special consideration when firing at targets from directly in front or directly in the back...and further that tail hits are converted to engine hits
in this particular case it makes a significant difference as it is a campaign game AND also the difference between being shot down and NOT being shot down...my engine is in pristine condition
