| | Message text Excellent Nick. Very well considered.
I like the honorable exit from own side only, if it can be implemented that way. Otherwise, no problem.
Fuel management is important. Exiting with zero fuel is honorable, 3 or less fuel is not. Fly around on the board for one more turn if you still have 3 fuel. If that doesn't work for the pilot it is because he is being Beat, and should have to spend his last fuel to get off, giving his opponent maximum time to get him before exiting.
You have used excellent judgement so far. Take all of our comments and weigh them yourself. Not everyone will comment here, but there enjoyment of the system will still matter. I have seen a number of campaign/tourny situations goofed up because the moderator gave too much weight to the squeeky wheels(those of us bugging you with messages).
Thanks again. This will be one of the ultimate aplications of youplay!!!!

Dear youplayers, yesterday, on July the 1st, 2006 at 4:14 PM the first YouPlayIt test tournament has come to a successfull end!!! "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind." Strangely enough, this phrase sound familiar... Anyway, some informations about tournaments: will be played among 8 players, will be available for all games, any number of players in each game, any game type, and for many scenarios for the games with scenarios, will have a totally different scoring system, will have a dedicated section of the site, but tournament games will be mixed with normal games.
About the totally different scoring system, we have prepared a page that explain you how it work:
http://youplay.it/play/tn_help_scoring.asp
Please, carefully read it and give us your feedback, this is VERY VERY important for us, since many of the bast ideas on this site come from users.
Please allow some days before the tournaments will be available... we are working on the usability of this new section.
Happy reading, Nick. |
