Can new pilots be somehow restricted to the oldest naffest planes as the new planes in a Squadron would go to the better pilots. So this would mean that people who are in a new incarnation, or new pilots joining a squadron would get the older less favourable planes.

However, since it's not possible to assign a specific plane to a player during the game creation, I think that it will be up to each Squadron to choose how their pilots pick their planes
Obviously having a limited supply of certain type of planes will favor Squadrons having to make a choice on who flies what
