Lets rank each pilot from 1 to 5. 1 = rookie, 5 = ace. Then lets rank planes in a scenario. Low points for a weak plane and high points for a powerful plane.
Now lets try an example and I will use extremes.
Camel vs DIII, ksnake vs a rookie. Ksnake in the DIII and the rookie in the camel. Ksnake should win 99% of the time so he would score 1 point for the enemy plane X 1 point for a rookie. 1 x 1 = 1. He gets 1 point for a win. Now if the rookie by some miracle gets the win he gets 5 points for killing an ace x 5 points for shooting down a powerful plane and scores 5 x 5 = 25 points.
OK all, take your shots at this idea.
Pokerguy Interesting idea, but it seems like someone somewhere needs to make the subjective decisions on ranking players (especially in multiplayer games) and ranking planes.
Sounds like a good system to try out in a small tournament to see how it goes. |
