But without Pearl Harbor we never would have had the classic 'Pear Harbor Sucked' song from TEAM AMERICA (one of my favorite movies!) - a song that made me laugh so hard I cried the first time I saw the movie.
My vote isn't for a particular movie but rather ANY war movie where the studio forces a 'love plot' into the story to add mass appeal... i.e. Enemy at the Gate (a great film brought down) or Pearl Harbor (poor film made worse).
Note: This is different that a love story movie with a war setting. I really liked the movie, Shining Though, but that was a love story with a heavy war theme not a war movie with a love plot tossed in.
Oh and bonus points for crappiness of a war movie if they can find a way to work a child actor into the script.

The Sound of Music. It had both Nazi's and (two) "love plots going on in it. Plus all that singing! Whoever thought that singing in a war movie was appropriate was nuts!
